There's More Than One Way to Pay for Care
Care can feel expensive, but there are several routes to funding it — and we're here to help you understand which is right for your situation.
Privately Funded
You pay for your own care directly. This gives you the most flexibility — you choose your provider, the hours, and the type of support, with no waiting for council assessments. Many of our clients are private payers.
Direct Payments
If you've been assessed as needing care by your local authority, you can take that funding as a direct payment and choose your own provider — including us. It gives you the freedom of private care with the financial support of council funding.
Local Authority
If your council commissions Seren to deliver your care, the funding is arranged on your behalf. We work in partnership with all 5 South Wales regions — Cardiff, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Neath Port Talbot, and Powys.
Not sure which route is right for you? We'll talk you through it.
